Gypsy Eyes Fuzz - Olive Drab Medium Relic. NOS Newmarket Germanium Transistors.  Serial Number #014. 
 
The transistor selection in this fuzz are a pair of Newmarket NKT271A and OC77 Red Dots.  These are lower gain transistors for a fat, crunchy fuzz that doesn't get over saturated or heavily compressed.  Awesome for pushing an amp on the edge of breakup into gloriously rich fuzz and overdrive tones.  Huge dynamic control and cleanup off the guitar volume and with pick attack.    
 
The Gypsy Eyes Fuzz is our take on the classic Fuzz Face which first began to make waves in the mid 1960s - used to ultimate effect by Jimi Hendrix and favoured by a who's who of guitar greats ever since.
 
This pedal has been given our medium relic finish with aged paintwork and external hardware.  It feels like a 60 year old fuzz you found in its original case at the back of an attic. Meticulously crafted in a heavy duty sand cast enclosure, featuring premium components throughout and comes complete with hand made wooden presentation box.

Each Pedal is built by hand, one at a time, and individually voiced to optimise its specially selected pair of transistors. No two pedals are exactly the same - they all have unique attributes and components are chosen to enhance the sonic qualities of each circuit.
 
The controls are simple but highly effective - 'Volume' sets the overall output of the pedal and 'Fuzz' sets the intensity of the effect, which ranges from soft to sonic destruction. The Gypsy Eyes is designed to provide a high level of output when desired and is capable of a significant volume boost - this fuzz will not disappear in the mix when engaged. 
 
Raising the level also hits the input of your amp harder and interacts with tube preamp stages to produce beautiful overtones and a wide range of overdrive and distortion tones through to raging fuzz. The pedal provides a vast tonal palette to play with and subtle changes in pick attack and tweaks to your guitar's volume and tone controls offer up unlimited avenues for expression.
 
This pedal is battery only (included) and comes complete with wooden case, signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and instruction card.
