The MKII Professional Fuzz is a hand-crafted effect pedal based on the mid 60s classic Tone Bender MKII Professional.  
 
This version features the same circuit design, component selection and performance of its bigger wedge-shaped brother.  Here you get all the tone in a smaller footprint with the addition of a LED indictor and DC power jack (note DC power operation requires an isolated power supply – most modern multi-outlet pedalboard supplies meet this requirement. No daisy chains! The internal battery is included as standard).
 
The transistor selection in this fuzz is a trio of Mullard Great Britain OC76 Metal Can Transistors.  These transistors have plenty of gain on tap for massive fuzz tones with wide dynamic control and cleanup off the guitar volume and with pick attack.
 
Our take on this magical fuzz machine also features a three-way gain mode switch which provides a broad range of tones from cranked amp overdrive to smoking hot fuzz.       
 
Each Pedal is built by hand, one at a time, and individually voiced to optimise its specially selected trio of transistors. No two pedals are exactly the same - they all have unique attributes and components are chosen to enhance the sonic qualities of set of transistors.
 
The controls are simple but highly effective - 'Level' sets the overall output of the effect and 'Attack' dials up the fuzz, which ranges from soft to sonic destruction. The MKII Professional is designed to provide a high level of output when desired and is capable of a significant volume boost - this fuzz will not disappear in the mix when engaged. 
 
The Gain Mode switch provides three separate gain settings for the pedal. Low (centre) is a boost setting with Med (right) and High (left) progressively adding more gain and fuzz. Lower gain is also a tad brighter, high gain is fat and juicy. Each setting imparts its own special character and greatly adds to the versatility of the pedal in response to different musical situations, guitars, amps etc. Wherever you set it, be prepared for scintillating boosted fuzz tones!
 
All pedals come complete with a custom carry bag, signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and instruction card.
